TRIBUTE: CLARENCE, THE SINGING DOG
TRIBUTE: CLARENCE, THE SINGING DOG Mr. X and I could not have asked for anything more out for our choice of the one being to share our lives. Clarence was the best dog I’ve ever seen or heard of. Not only was he the sweetest, most loving and caring and affectionate pal ever, but he literally didn’t give us even one second to be angry at him for in the almost eighteen years that we were blessed to have him with us.

EMMYS GIFTING SUITES 2010 Another awards show, another round of gifting suites. YAY!!! Exhausting as they are, there’s no place I’d rather be. Still nursing this seemingly-never-ending disk problem, I could make it to only five. Did I just

EMMYS 2010 MUSINGS I’m so sorry that this won’t be as long, or entertaining, as usual, but in-between at least twelve hours a day of the US Open and writing my always juicy Gifting Suites columns, I just didn’t have that much time to dev

SPORTS: U.S. OPEN 2010
U.S. OPEN 2010 Yet another of my crazy obsessions begins today--tennis’ U.S. Open. I watch every second of it, as I do Wimbledon. But, as this is held in New York, as opposed to England, the times work out better for me, because I like to wa

DINING: TWO NEW YORK FOOD TRANPLANTS
TWO NEW YORK FOOD TRANPLANTS As a transplanted New Yorker myself, (a term I loathe,) I understand the urge to move west. But I kind-of hate it when food places do. I like each area of the country to have its own special niche. Part of what mak
